D.C. Wood's Biography

Daniel Christopher Wood is a published author, artist & stage actor who regularly performs at Daneside Theatre and also writes for TheSportster. He currently resides in Congleton, England.

​

Having been interested in writing and artwork at a young age, Daniel's poem "The Spider" was published in Cheshire's Over The Moon Anthology in 1997. He has gone on to write various fan fiction, poetry and audiobooks, with his first novel The Saviour being published in 2011. He has also presented his own radio show, "The Box Of Stuff" on numerous platforms, where he wrote, produced & narrated his own radio serial, "Bear Spirit", which was a finalist in the 2015 Parsec Awards.

In 2015, D.C. Wood moved onto stage acting at Daneside Theatre. He has performed in a variety of different shows like The Crucible, One Man, Two Guvnors, The Ghost Train, And Then There Were None and stage productions of The Vicar Of Dibley and Blackadder, for which Daniel has twice been shortlisted for A NODA Award for Best Supporting Male In A Drama in the role of Baldrick.

D.C. is also an avid wrestling fan, currently writing for Smarkdown and TheSportster. In 2025, he is looking to republish his novel as The Saviour Begins, as well as publish his first poetry collection, The Asperger's Argument.
